По мере увеличения количества и многообразия устройств, позволяющих фиксировать изображения в различных диапазонах электромагнитного спектра, а также расширения сфер деятельности человека, в которых используются информационные технологии (ИТ), растет необходимость оценки качества регистрируемых изображений. Растут требования к представлению цифровых изображений: уменьшается размер пикселя, увеличивается динамический диапазон яркости.</p><p>Понятие качества можно трактовать по-разному – в зависимости от целей использования изображений оно может быть связано как с визуальными, так и с художественными особенностями восприятия снимка человеком. В данных исследованиях понятие качества цифрового изображения интерпретируется в контексте точности передачи деталей реальной сцены на ее цифровом представлении, и не учитываются художественные аспекты кадра.</p><p>В статье рассматриваются факторы, снижающие качество цифровых изображений, области применения функций оценки качества изображений, способ нормализации мер близости, классы цифровых изображений и их возможные искажения, доступные базы изображений для проведения экспериментов по оценке качества изображений с визуальными оценками экспертов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Quality assessment is an integral stage in the processing and analysis of digital images in various automated systems. With the increase in the number and variety of devices that allow receiving data in various digital formats, as well as the expansion of human activities in which information technology (IT) is used, the need to assess the quality of the data obtained is growing.
